The artistic works presented here date from 1918 onwards, mainly from 1919 to 1921. They take architectural inspiration, clearly also received from de Stijl during a trip to Holland around 1920. He went on to study architecture in Darmstadt, and the date of his diploma examination is given as 25 May 1925.
