The artistic works presented here date from 1918 onwards, mainly from 1919 to 1921. They take up architectural ideas, clearly also received from de Stijl during a trip to Holland around 1920. He went on to study architecture in Darmstadt; the date of his main diploma examination is given as 25 May 1925.
